ECO FLEX FUNDING

THE ENERGY COMPANIES & YOUR LOCAL COUNCIL

WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

The LA Flex scheme

The LA Flexible Eligibility scheme, or LA FLEX in short, is the extension of the government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, and is aimed at currently energy inefficient UK households to help reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint. This is done by upgrading inefficient homes with energy efficient measures, meaning there is funding available for installs such as new loft insulation or a new boiler, with the sole purpose of reducing your energy bills.

The LA Flex scheme allows more individuals to have access to energy efficiency measures at a reduced cost or simply no cost at all! This is good news for the householder as in many cases, the criteria has been extended beyond just income, benefits received or type of heating to include illnesses, pregnancy, number of children or age of occupant.

As the qualifying criteria is defined by your Local Authority, this means your eligibility for the LA FLEX Scheme ultimately depends on your Local Authority’s statement of intent but as a general rule, the Government threshold is having less than £31,000 in savings.

Our highly qualified surveyors can assist you in filling in and completing your application form and assess your eligibility for the scheme.
